Maryhill
Samuel Hill was an eccentric millionaire active around the turn of the 20th century. Learning about him a bit it's easy to see that he was a visionary for his time. He fell in love with the Columbia Gorge and established several projects including a WWI monument modeled after Stonehenge and a museum (that was originally to be his "Ranch House"). It's odd to see all of this in the middle of nowhere. The museum is quite nice and features several events during the summer including a sculpture garden.
